hey it’s me, Mira.

Mira’s passions come to life when she’s focused on building relationships, positivity, and storytelling specifically for underestimated communities. The importance of belonging has been essential for Mira since her upbringing in Princeton, New Jersey as a biracial and queer human.

Carving a niche on the lacrosse field as the University of Michigan's Most Winningest Goalie, Mira has a special knack for melding her love for sports with fostering inclusivity on teams. Her commitment shone brightly as she led the women’s lacrosse team to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019, becoming the program's career saves leader in the process.

Mira's off-field endeavors are just as impactful, working tirelessly to support underrepresented communities. Balancing her professional athletic pursuits with Athletes Unlimited, she dedicates her off-field time to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives at Justworks. Her efforts help create spaces where all voices are heard and respected.

With an educational background from the University of Michigan in African American Studies, Law, Justice & Social Change, and Music, Mira brings a well-rounded perspective to her role. Based in Brooklyn, NY, you can catch her beatboxing and singing down the street, echoing her belief that harmony both in music, sports and the world begins with understanding and celebrating our unique differences.
